When my little 4-month old “Froggy” friend stopped by last week…we had some fun trying out some adorable hats made by Meccascraps Baby Essentials and More.  Big brother didn’t want in on the fun and very politely responded, “No thanks, no pictures.”  Thankfully my daughters love Thomas the Train so I used the trains to lure him in and when I got him to smile it was absolutely perfect.





{Miss H} Birthday Session: Virginia Beach Photographer

Tomorrow I have another little friend joining me for a Birthday Session, but first I had to share the story of little Miss H. 

Last week when she came by my studio she was all smiles and we had a blast.  When it was cake time she carefully picked at only the green frosting and after a while I asked Mom and Dad if I could help her get to the middle (I was hoping she would get a little messy).  I gently took her hand and smashed it into her cake and well let's just say the last picture describes her feelings perfectly...

Baby "R" Sneak Peek Virginia Beach, Newborn Photographer

Baby "R" arrived into this world in time to see her Daddy before he left on a 6-month deployment.  She is 100% precious and I am honored to be able to provide her family with her first cherished photos.  Thank you Brian and family for your service.

Operation Love Reunited: Sneak Peek "G" Family (Norfolk Airport)

This little girl was on a mission:  Hug and squeeze my Daddy. 

It was difficult to get her to smile while we were waiting (my tricks didn't work)

but getting to hug her Daddy after 6 months...

Another happy family reunited...I love it!  Welcome Home Steve!

"C" Family Sneak Peek: Virginia Beach Family Photographer

One feature I wanted to add this year was a blog.  Facebook has some limitations and I knew it was time to take the blogging leap...so bare with me as I work to figure it all out.

I started the New Year with a Cherish Session with this wonderful family.  After two weeks off, I was excited to begin 2011...Capturing moments for families to cherish forever!

My favorite teenager...in November I captured a shot  (I absolutely LOVED) of this awesome young man with his grandfather and when I showed him this picture on the LCD screen...he responded, "Cool, my new Facebook profile picture."
